I want to mention a territory that is visa free and has developed into a paradise for a few hundred Thais and Filipinos because of its high standard of living and no restrictions on immigration. The contrast between this place and where happy immugrants come from could not gave been more extreme. This is territory with more polar bears than humans and where there is no daylight for four months in winter and no night for four months in summer. Its main town is the world's northernmost town. The place is Svalbard, a territory in Norway where the main town is closer to the North Pole than the northernmost town in Alaska. People you meet in Longyearbten is happy, either because they love the Arctic or because they have a found a way to enjoy the good life financially. Welcome to rhe world's strangest paradise for expats!

I think El Salvador is the most underrated country in North and Central America.
Great list! I've been to all of them except Peru and Serbia. I love Peruvian food and really need to go there. Bosnia , especially Mostar is a must visit for anyone who remembers the war. I wouldn't want to live there though. I think the Albanian coast is gorgeous and would be a great place to invest in seaside real estate. It will soon be a huge tourist destination.

What an interesting list! The only one of those countries I have been to is Peru, where I have spent quite a bit of time on several trips, thanks to dear friends from college from there. It really is an amazing place for so many reasons, and I have actually considered moving there.

I haven't subscribed yet. I just found your channel yesterday I'm a retired man living in the Philippines.
The cost of living here is much less than in the States. I rent a house with a big yard. Have a big garden and trade with the locals to supplement my income.
I remarried and have a big adopted family. So my food cost is the most cost. Eat a lot of fish.
You should try this place. I live on a island with about 100 thousand people. 45 towns and 150+ resorts.
Besides the beautiful scenery. The people are the best resource here. Much like a giant family. Crime is almost non existent. Love and passion is abundant.

I definitely agree with you concerning this list. I have been to five of the six countries you mention here. When I saw the title of this video, the first place I thought of was Poland, and that was your first destination.

I would say Nicaragua. Costa Rica gets all the attention in Central America but in my opinion it is so overrated. You can find all the same things you would in Costa Rica, like ecotourism and beaches, but at a fraction of the cost. Nicaragua is safer (maybe except for Managua), and has wonderful people and beautiful culture too. In the last 10 years the infrastructure and cleanliness has improved and the country is quickly developing. Nicaragua's future is bright given that certain bigger countries keep their noses out and leave them alone.

I think for Americans at least, Turkey is underrated. I know it gets many many tourists, but most Americans overlook it.
