    European here
Not that it matters at all
    Western europeans prefer californians
    Eastern europeans prefer southerners 😂

People in the South still smile and say hello to strangers (not all the time in every instance but a lot of the time) and hold the door open for one another when we walk in a gas station and say please and thank you, most everyone no matter who they are. That’s the best thing about the South.

They almost seem offended out west, when you call them Sir, ma'am, Mr or Miss

You never think that South USA will have anything in common with East Asia, of all places. Guess what, we might as well have been long lost cousins. lol

I love living here in the South and if the rest of the country was anything like we are we would not have anywhere near the worries we do now

Just **DON'T**. By visiting the South you are supporting unparalleled corruption and exploitation. The South is a freshly painted version of third world America. Tourists are viewed as patsies across the board.

Yes Georgia is beautiful, friendly, charming and full of history. I loved it. What I don't like is the racism that still exists and is found in state's laws and voting practices. History can be magical but racism has always been a dark stain on the south. Well past time to stop it.

Given politics as of now, if you are a liberal, make sure to avoid the south. If you make an emergency landing and If someone starts talking politics, find a way to politely end it.

It looks like the place for me… I'm so tired of posmodernism and progresism… I need family and traditional values so much… Never thought the south of America would be so matchy with me… I thought it was Europe or Japan… I've been in Europe and frankly, I coudnl't find my place down there. Thanks for sharing! from Argentina!

I finally tried grits for the first time a few weeks ago when I went to Savannah. I had shrimp and grits for dinner. It was really delicious! Also, Savannah is a great city.

A lot of southerners have deep roots. We trace our immigrating ancestors back to the 1600s or early 1700s. Personally, I can take you to the cemetary where my ancestors are buried in their Civil War uniforms, and some headstones even date from 1654.

It's also commonplace for children to call adults by their first name, preceded by Miss or Mister. As in, "go give Miss Lisa some sugar." (A hug)

Being a lifelong Georgia resident it's funny to watch this.
Also, don't visit Atlanta anymore, it's extremely dangerous and has very much become similar to LA or SF. Cops won't even help anymore
