People speak many languages only in touristic areas. Many old local people don’t know even basic English or simply ignore if you speak English. And yes, paying for using toilet is kind of absurds, toilets in shops and restaurants are for customers only, you can’t just walk in and use them.
Cigarettes are not considered fashionable. Every European knows how bad they are for your health. They are just more accepted. I don't know why. But I think the social pressure is higher in the US. And we do not always dress to impress. On average Europeans might dress more elegant. But not "always". Dinner is not in every European country a all night long activity. In some countries like Italy and Spain dinner takes a lot of time. But in others like Germany, it has a similar time like in the US.
The problem is, that some Americans tend to think that Europe is a culturally united area like the US. But it is not. It is a very diverse continent with a lot of different cultures. Europeans nations a way more diverse than the states in the US.
Sports are not that big? Go to London on a London derby. Or Birmingham vs villa. Or rangers vs Celtic. Then make another video with correct information 😊
Of course smoking is considered a health hazard in Europe as well. It is NOT fashionable as you stated. There is, however, a much more relaxed approach to smoking generally, and it's up to any adult person to decide for themselves. Smoking is banned in most indoor facilities across Europe, just to make that clear. In the outdoors – pretty much your decision.
